Anime Cafe @ Peekaboo Cafe

Wow! I think there might be few people know about this coffee shop. I saw this cafe on Facebook and it really attracted me because of the theme of the cafe. So, I meet up with my friends to explore this anime cafe where my friend likes Totoro very much. The café was located in Esplanad Bukit Jalil. Well, it's on the first floor of the store. There is no doubt that it is as popular as The Owls Cafe and Fishee Cafe, which I visited in the same location, Bukit Jalil.

This coffee shop attracts a lot of anime fans from age, most of them are like the popular Japanese anime Totoro! I like it so much too! So that's why some of them are curious and interested in exploring and dining at Peekaboo. In addition, we can see that Totoro toys are very cute! My friend is very fascinated by Totoro. She hopes she can get her favorite character Totoro because she says it's a bit hard to find Totoro T-shirts, toys, gifts, and more.

The logo cafe is very cute and very attractive. That's why I always see it that way because it's as cute as a Totoro! There are lots of cute Totoro anywhere, even just putting Totoro toys on chairs and sofas so customers can hug any size of Totoro plushie. IT’S SO DAMN CUTE!

At Peekaboo Cafe, interior design has a variety of combinations. I like its decorative style, semi-finished concrete walls, and floors with wood furniture; cute Totoro plushie. I like the corner area with glass windows, which provide natural sunlight. Although the corner is a bit warm, it is still one of the instagrammable areas. Because of these elements, it totally makes the environment so special. It's the perfect place to eat for those who really love the anime character Totoro. This is a must-visit coffee shop! You must come and explore the Peekaboo Cafe.

Peekaboo Coffee offers a variety of beverages, with food limited to pasta, rice plates, and waffles. The coffee here is pretty good, in a ceramic cup, at a moderate temperature. I ordered Earl Grey Latte (RM12) and while my friend ordered Hot Chocolate (RM13)

Instead of ordering their main food, we ordered their dessert Naughty Berry Waffle (Rm 14). The waffles are served with coconut ice cream, strawberry, blueberry, and kiwi. Waffles are aromatic and fluffy, with a chewy texture inside and a crisp outer skin. For the best was to go with a cup of coffee or tea.

Peekaboo Cafe offers a reasonable price and an affordable price. It's not as expensive as some high-class cafes, but not as cheap as the coffee shop style. The price can obviously be demonstrated by the food and environment provided by Peekaboo Cafe.
