As a Seri Kembangan-ian, it's good news to hear that our area is being hyped by the 70's conceptual Kopitiam! We're finally here! Now, with trendy cafes blooming like crazing around the Klang Valley, I'm very appreciate for this small family business.
The kopitiam have well-thought-out decorations that give you an atmosphere other than that. Walking into this restaurant is like going back to the Malaysian style of the 70's. With televisions, PVC cord seats, vintage posters, vintage paper calendars, kerosene lamps emit nostalgia, especially for those who have grown up living with all of them. Their decorations are just super simple and the kopitiam done a lot of renovation to make it feel more like 70's.

Dinner time is a bit packed. First of all, there are not many tables. I think there are fewer than 20 tables. As a result, you sometimes just have to queue and wait. But I had rather be there earlier before the dinner time around 6 p.m. to avoid the crowd. Once we're done our meal, the people are getting more and more.
The food is also simple. It's just the kind of food we usually eat. Like Pan Mee (2 kinds of soup, dry and chili), Nasi Lemak (3 types with fried chicken legs, Rendang or Sotong), Steam Rice with Salted Fish Pork, Steamed rice Pork Ribs with Tauchu and Chili, Steam Rice with herbal chicken and Hainanese Chicken Chops. In addition, there are snacks and drinks. That's it.

I had ordered their Nasi Lemak chicken legs RM10.50 with big chicken legs. They marinated the chicken beforehand and fried it to perfection. Why I say perfection is because the outside is crisp and juicy inside. That's my favorite kind of fried chicken. I feel so guilty to eat the chicken skin, it's so crunchy and so delicious!

The owner of the kopitiam had given a lot of thought in the sale of food or drink, such as the bottle of drinks they served is specially labeled with a homemade logo, plus using tin cup to drink which I think quite adorable. You can really have the feeling you are went back to 70s in that situations. It sells for RM2.90 for a bottle.

In conclusion, for me, the food here is quite reasonable and average. If you happen to be here, you might want to give it a try. After I came here for my first time, I know why here is very popular with young people, although it is a "Kopitiam", but it more like a café. The owner had spent a lot of thought on their restaurant's concept and the idea how they serve the food. You really won’t feel regret to come here for a try.
